En Culiacán, en una cama del área de Urgencias del Hospital Regional del Issste Manuel Cárdenas de la Vega, Irma Salazar, la maestra que en un retén atropelló de muerte a un agente federal, sostiene que no se pudo parar porque los frenos se pusieron duros.
Expone que de La Brecha, Guasave, se dirigían a Mazatlán, su municipio. Vio el retén, y cuando iba acercándose el carro no frenó.
“(Los frenos) se pusieron duros, y ya después, los que estaban ahí, militares, no sé quiénes serían, pero estaba esa gente con armas, y ellos mirando que venía el carro, no se quitaron, en cambio levantaron las armas para dispararnos, hubo disparos de frente”, menciona.
“Me llevé la mano al rostro, y mi hija también, y mis niñas: ‘mami, mami, nos están disparando, nos están disparando’, y seguimos, y seguían las balas atrás de nosotros y el carro siguió, por sí solo bajó el carro”.
Después de los impactos de bala, vio cómo le brotaban los “chorros de sangre” a su hija (Jéssica) y a su nieta, quien quedó con su pierna destrozada.
– ¿Cuántos policías había enfrente?
– Eran muchos.
– ¿Le dispararon de frente?
– De frente porque los impactos que traía mi hija, los impactos que ya traía en su vientre, aquí en el hombro y en su cabeza, fueron de frente… y mi nieta en su piernita, fueron de frente los impactos que recibimos, eran muchos balazos nomás que Dios hace milagros también.
– ¿Usted sintió que atropelló al agente?
– No, yo no sentí nada, yo me llevé la mano al rostro porque ellos empezaron a disparar y yo no sentí nada y no sentí que el carro se fuera hacia un lado ni nada, no sentí, yo no sentí, yo me llevé las manos al rostro, y mi hija me decía: “mami, me siento mal, y fue cuando yo volteaba y le miraba los chorros de sangre que le brotaban de su cuerpo”.
– ¿Le fallaron los frenos, quiso frenar, se le pusieron duros?
– Sí, se pusieron duros, se pusieron duros y más cuando ellos levantaron las armas y empezaron a disparar y seguimos nosotros y se escuchaban más disparos y las niñas mal… mal, y mi hija también.
– Mencionan que cuando usted atropelló al señor (al agente), siguió de frente, que no se detuvo.
– Cómo me iba a detener, no podía detenerme, ya no podía detenerme.
– ¿Usted identificó el retén?
– Sí, estaban unos conos, pero ya cuando estaba más cerca quise frenar, pero ya no pude frenar, pero no porque hubiera querido hacer maldad, ni nada, si llevaba a mi familia.
Irma Salazar asegura quedaron en shock.
“En cuanto vimos que levantaron las armas, ya mi cabeza ya no reaccionaba bien”, detalla.
Asegura que Valentina, y Emili, sus nietas, gritaban.
“A mi nieta (Valentina, de 6 años) le acaban de quitar su piernita”, lamenta.
– Manifiesta tener miedo.
– Claro que sí tengo miedo, sí tengo miedo.
Indica que los agentes no se quitaron, al contrario.
“Porque si ellos hubieran sido otros, se quitan, se quitan ellos de ahí, y no, al contrario, nos hicieron frente”, subraya.

En el auto viajaban, Irma de 54 años, su hija Jésica de 26 años, y las pequeñas Valeria y Emili.
Jéssica resultó con heridas por los disparos en el pecho, cabeza, brazos y abdomen.
A una de las pequeñas, Valeria, le tuvieron que amputar una de sus piernas por las heridas provocadas por los disparos.
La familia venía de La Brecha, Guasave, y se dirigían a Mazatlán.
Pide esposo de Jéssica aclarar accidente en retén
Aclarar el accidente que se registró en un retén instalado en la carretera Culiacán-Mazatlán en el kilómetro 122 donde un policía federal resultó muerto, pidió Héctor Bravo, esposo de Jéssica, la hija de la señora que atropelló al agente.
Planteó aclarar de la mejor manera el caso, donde cada quien está pagando las consecuencias de las acciones que se han hecho.
En este accidente su esposa sufrió varios balazos. Tiene uno en el pecho que le atravesó el pulmón; otro en el abdomen; uno más en el brazo izquierdo y un rozón en la cabeza.
Tiene fracturadas las costillas, prosiguió.
“Ya mi esposa no sé qué secuelas vaya a tener más adelante, de momento los doctores la están tratando ahí, pero a lo mejor no sé qué vaya a pasar, el doctor me dice que de momento está estable, más sin embargo, todavía no sabemos”.
Bravo señaló que a su sobrina Valentina le amputaron la pierna.
“Lo que nosotros queremos pues como quien dice no tener problemas con nadie y que nadie tome represalias contra nosotros y que nuestra familia esté en paz que es básicamente eso es lo que uno siempre quiere vivir en calma y tranquilidad”.
Manifestó que en ambas partes hay bastante sufrimiento, por un lado la familia del agente y por otra, la de él.
“Y la verdad que también mi familia está muy consternada porque ellos lamentan mucho lo sucedido y ellos créanme que en ningún momento quisieron meterse en un problema”.
Este problema está agobiándolos a todos de muchas maneras, tanto económica como físicamente.
Héctor Bravo aseguró no ha hablado mucho con su esposa.
“Ella casi no habla, come, descansa”, señaló.
