Un video permitió observar el momento en que agentes guardaron en una patrulla parte de la mercancía saqueada en Ecatepec.

Cuatro policías del Estado de México fueron despedidos y presentados ante el Ministerio Público después de que un video permitiera observar a los agentes guardando en una patrulla mercancía, tras registrarse el saqueo de una tienda Aurrerá en el municipio de Ecatepec.

La Comisión Estatal de Seguridad Ciudadana informó sobre la separación del cargo de los agentes, que “fueron exhibidos en un video en redes sociales”.
Este jueves el secretario de Gobierno del Estado de México, José Manzur, informó sobre la detención de 430 personas, por su presunta responsabilidad en los saqueos a comercios registrados el miércoles pasado.
En total, en territorio mexiquense, Veracruz, la Ciudad de México e Hidalgo, han sido detenidas al menos 607 personas, hasta las 11:20 horas.

La Asociación Nacional de Tiendas de Autoservicio (ANTAD), en tanto, informó que hasta la mañana de este jueves tenía contabilizadas 250 tiendas saqueadas, en el Estado de México, Michoacán, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Quintana Roo (Cancún) y la Ciudad de México.

Los saqueos han ocurrido mientras ciudadanos protestan con marchas y concentraciones en contra del aumento a la gasolina, que comenzó a aplicarse desde el 1 de enero de 2017, cuando el gobierno dejó de subsidiar el precio del combustible.
